Senator Barry Crago

Barry Crago is a Republican serving in the Wyoming State Senate, representing District 22. He assumed office on January 6, 2025, and his current term is set to end in January 2029.

Barry Crago has a rich background that combines law, ranching, and public service. Raised on a family ranch in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for rural life. He pursued higher education at the University of Wyoming, earning a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business in 1999. His academic journey continued with a Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2004.

Crago’s professional career is as diverse as it is impressive. He has served as a Deputy County Attorney in Johnson County, Wyoming, and is a partner at Crago Law Offices. Alongside his legal career, he manages the Willow Creek Ranch near Kaycee, Wyoming, blending his legal expertise with his passion for ranching.

Before joining the Wyoming State Senate, Crago represented District 40 in the Wyoming House of Representatives, where he served from January 2021 to January 2025. His legislative work has been marked by a commitment to the values and needs of his constituents, particularly those in rural communities.

Barry Crago’s life is also enriched by his family. He and his wife, Kristen, are proud parents to two daughters, Lily and Caroline. Together, they embody the values of hard work, community, and dedication that define Crago’s approach to both his personal and professional life.
