Representative Bill Henderson
Bill Henderson is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 41 since January 10, 2017. He assumed office on January 2, 2017, and his current term ends on January 6, 2025. Henderson is running for re-election to the Wyoming House of Representatives to represent District 41.
Bill Henderson’s political journey includes several notable moments. In 2014, he challenged incumbent Republican Representative Dan Zwonitzer in the District 43 Republican primary but lost to Zwonitzer. Later that year, Henderson ran for a position on the Laramie County School District #1 Board of Trustees but lost in the general election. In 2016, incumbent Democratic Representative Ken Esquibel retired, and Henderson declared his candidacy for the seat. He faced Patrick Fitzgerald in the Republican primary and defeated him by just two votes to become the Republican nominee. In the general election, he secured victory against Democrat Amy Simpson with 51% of the vote.
Henderson’s background extends beyond politics. He is a banker by profession and an alumnus of the University of Wyoming. His residence is in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
