About Senator Larry Hicks
Larry S. Hicks (Republican Party) is a member of the Wyoming State Senate, representing District 11. He assumed office in 2011 and has served as state Senate majority leader since January 10, 2023. Hicks studied crop science at the University of Wyoming, earning a bachelor of science, and went on to earn an M.S. in Agronomy from Montana State University. He later returned to the University of Wyoming where he completed Ph.D. coursework in Agronomy. Hicks worked as a natural resources coordinator for the Little Snake River Conservation District.
