Representative Tony Locke

Tony Locke, a native of Wheatland, Wyoming, embodies the values of hard work, persistence, and courage. Born and raised in this tight-knit community, he learned the importance of dedication from an early age.

• Education and Early Years:

  • Tony attended Wheatland High School, where he served as student body President for two years. His commitment to leadership and academic excellence led him to graduate as the Salutatorian of his class.
  • As a young athlete, Tony also achieved recognition as a Wyoming State Wrestling Champion.
  • He pursued higher education at the University of Wyoming, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, he obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from West Coast University.

• Military Service and Professional Career:

  • Tony’s journey took him to the United States Air Force, where he served for six years. His dedication to duty and technical expertise contributed to the Air Force’s mission.
  • After his military service, Tony settled in Colorado Springs, where he managed computer networks at Peterson Air Force Base. His work spanned various roles in cybersecurity, incident response, and computer forensics.

• Return to Wyoming:

  • Seven years ago, Tony was blessed to return to his home state of Wyoming. His love for the land, its people, and its values drew him back.
  • As a lifelong Republican, Tony decided to contribute further by running for public office. He became a candidate for the Wyoming House District 35, representing Natrona County.

Tony Locke’s unwavering commitment to Wyoming continues as he advocates for policies that benefit its residents. His background in engineering, military service, and community leadership positions him well to serve the people of District 35.
