Troy McKeown is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming Senate. He has been serving District 24 since January 4, 2021. Before entering politics, McKeown had a distinguished military career, serving 27 years in the United States Army as an artillery officer and retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He also owned a business.

McKeown is passionate about equal access to education for all students from kindergarten to 12th grade. His commitment to public service and education underscores his role in the Senate Labor, Health & Social Services Committee and the Senate Transportation, Highways & Military Affairs Committee.

He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration[^1^][1]. McKeown’s victory in the 2020 Republican Primary against former incumbent Michael Von Flatern secured his position in the Wyoming Senate.
