Representative John W. Rose

Representative John Rose is serving his fourth term in Congress representing Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District on the House Agriculture Committee and House Financial Services Committee. A lifelong Tennessean, he was raised in Cookeville and continues to operate his family farm and business interests in Middle Tennessee.

Rose’s official biography describes him as a farmer, attorney, and small business owner whose conservative politics focus on debt reduction, lower federal spending, lighter regulation, and rural economic issues. Before Congress, he also served as Tennessee’s commissioner of agriculture and remained active in state fair and farm leadership.
