Jodie Belyea was elected the Federal Member for Dunkley at the 2024 Dunkley by-election following the passing of the late Peta Murphy.

Jodie attended Chisholm TAFE, attaining undergraduate TAFE qualifications in youth work, community development and business administration.

Jodie also attained a Masters of Business Leadership at RMIT University. She’s passionate about skills and training for the future.

Before entering politics, Jodie had a 35-year career working across community, corporate and philanthropic sectors as a community change-maker and leader.

Jodie has worked at community organisations like Anglicare, and most recently was the Managing Director/Founder of the Women’s Spirit Project and Foundation Manager at MEGT.

Jodie lives locally in Dunkley with her husband Dave and son Flynn.
