William Jerome Coombs (born December 24, 1833) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from New York. He represented New York’s 4th Congressional District and served two terms in Congress. Coombs held office as a Representative from December 7, 1891, to March 3, 1895, during a period of late nineteenth-century American political and economic change.

Serving as a Representative for New York, Coombs was affiliated with the Democratic Party throughout his congressional career.
