Benjamin, commonly known as Ben, was born and raised in the town of Clinton, Ontario. His passion for learning led him to pursue higher education at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. There, he dedicated himself to his studies and successfully earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Before entering politics, Ben gained valuable experience working in the Finance Department for D2L and also at Wescast Industries in Wingham, Ontario.
