Representative Doyle Heffley
Doyle M. Heffley is an American politician, consultant, and member of the Republican Party. He has been serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the 122nd district since January 4, 2011. He succeeded Keith McCall.
Heffley ran for the position in 2008 against incumbent Keith McCall but lost. However, he won the spot in the 2010 Election after McCall retired and did not run for reelection. In the 2010 elections, Keith McCall secured 64.0% of the votes while Doyle M. Heffley secured 36.0%.
Heffley currently sits on several committees including the Appropriations, Human Services, Tourism & Recreational Development, and Transportation committees. He is also the Republican Chair of the Human Services committee.
On a personal note, Heffley is married to Kellie and they have two children, Elizabeth and Angela. He resides in Lower Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, U.S. Heffley is an alumnus of the Lincoln Technical Institute.
Before his political career, Heffley worked as a consultant in the trucking industry. He is a former member of the Lower Towamensing Planning Commission and has served as both committeeman and chairman of the Carbon County Republican Committee.
As an Eagle Scout, he has been instilled with a deep sense of patriotism for state and country. He is an outdoorsman and a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights.
