Representative Shondra Summers-Armstrong
Shondra Summers-Armstrong is an American politician who is currently serving as a member of the Nevada Assembly from the 6th district. She was born in 1964 in Richmond, California, and graduated from California High School.
After graduating, she married a man in the Air Force and moved to Germany for a four-year stint, during which time she had two sons. After her husband’s service in the United States Air Force, they moved to Las Vegas and later divorced.
Summers-Armstrong has had a diverse career. She has worked as a management analyst for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and was also a board member of SEIU Nevada. Her political career began when she was elected to the Nevada Assembly in November 2020.
In addition to her political career, Summers-Armstrong is also running for election to the Las Vegas City Council to represent Ward 5 in Nevada. She is on the ballot in the primary on June 11, 2024.
