Daryl Abbas is an American politician born on November 13, 1983. He is a member of the Republican Party and currently represents District 22 in the New Hampshire Senate.

Abbas was first elected to the Senate on November 8, 2022. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, he served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022, representing the Rockingham 8th district.

Born and raised in Salem, New Hampshire, Abbas pursued his higher education at Suffolk University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2006 and later completed his Juris Doctor (JD) in 2009 from the same university.

In addition to his political career, Abbas is also an attorney. He has worked as a partner with the Upper Charles Law Group, LLC, the principal attorney of The Law Office of Daryl Abbas, and a litigation associate with Lustig, Glaser, & Wilson, P.C.

Abbas lives in Salem with his wife Jessica and their two young children, along with their two cats. His commitment to his family and his community is evident in his work as a public servant.

Throughout his political career, Abbas has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the Election Law and Municipal Affairs Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee. In the 2021-2022 term, he served as the Chair of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee.

Abbas’s victory in the 2022 general election for the New Hampshire State Senate District 22 was decisive. He won with 62.6% of the votes, defeating his opponent Wayne Haubner.
