Jim Creighton is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 30. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024. Creighton is affiliated with the Republican Party.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Creighton served in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 2012. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1982 and master’s degrees from Marine Staff College and National War College in 1994 and 2002, respectively.

Creighton’s career experience includes operating Eagle Point Global Solutions, LLC, Ursa Major Northeast Guides, LLC, and EastWest Institute. He has been affiliated with the Antrim/Bennington Lions Club, the 10th Mountain Division, and the Crotched Mountain Ski Patrol.

In the 2023-2024 term, Creighton was assigned to the Environment and Agriculture Committee as Vice Chair. In the previous term (2021-2022), he was assigned to the Resources, Recreation and Development Committee.

Creighton ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Hillsborough 30 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Jim Creighton is a retired United States Army Colonel who is excited about having the opportunity to continue his service in New Hampshire. Jim and his wife, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Tamasine Wood-Creighton, chose to settle in Antrim, New Hampshire in 2015 after 30 years in the Army.

He is a New Hampshire licensed hunting and fishing guide who co-founded Ursa Major Northeast Guides to bring wilderness adventures and leadership experiences to veterans, youth, and others. He coaches leadership at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Jim is the Chief Executive Officer for Eagle Point Global Solutions, LLC which is an organization dedicated to developing leadership skills and helping to resolve some of the world’s most difficult challenges. In the Army, he held key command positions to include: Commander, Combined Team Uruzgan, Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan; Assistant Division Commander for Support, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; and numerous command and staff positions in the 101st Airborne Division, Kentucky and 10th Mountain Division, New York.

Jim served as the Chief Operating Officer for the East West Institute after he transitioned out of the Army. Jim looks forward to applying the skills he learned as a global leader to making New Hampshire a better place.
