Representative Joe Guthrie
Joe Guthrie is a member of the Republican Party and represents Rockingham 15 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.
Guthrie ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Rockingham 15 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. In the election, Joe Guthrie received 31.1% of the votes, making him one of the winners of the two seats available in the Rockingham 15 district.
Throughout his tenure, Guthrie has been assigned to various committees. For the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the Municipal and County Government Committee. He also served on the same committee during the 2021-2022 term. In the 2019-2020 term, Guthrie was assigned to the Health, Human Services, and Elderly Affairs Committee.
In addition to his legislative duties, Guthrie has also held other offices. He served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for Rockingham 13 and has been a part of the US Navy Reserves. He has also served as a Selectman and has been a member of the Planning Board and Historic Commission.
Guthrie earned his Bachelor’s degree in politics from Saint Anselm College in 2017 and his Masters of Public Policy in 2019 from the Carsey School of Public Policy at UNH. Currently, he works in the hospitality industry.
