Linda Haskins is a dedicated and passionate member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 11. She assumed office on December 7, 2022, and her current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Born and raised in Exeter, New Hampshire, Linda has always been an active member of her community. She began her career as a guidance counselor at Phillips Exeter, where she worked diligently to guide and support students. Her dedication to her work and her community did not stop there. Linda founded Exeter Together, a coalition aimed at addressing mental health and substance use disorder in the community. She also serves on the Seacoast Public Health Advisory Council, further demonstrating her commitment to public health and safety.

In addition to her work in public health, Linda is also an active member of local environmental groups and the local Democratic Party. Her involvement in these groups showcases her dedication to environmental conservation and her political beliefs.

Before her political career, Linda left Exeter in 2002 to pursue additional graduate work. This pursuit led her to travel extensively, doing mission work in various parts of the world including Africa, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Kazakhstan, Appalachia, and Mississippi. These experiences have undoubtedly shaped her worldview and influenced her work as a representative.

Upon retiring, Linda returned to Exeter, where she continues to serve her community. She is also active in her church, where she serves on a resettlement team for a Ukrainian family. This work, along with her other endeavors, highlights Linda’s compassion and dedication to helping others.
