Bill Rehm is an American who has served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 31, since January 2007. He is a member of the Republican Party and resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S. Before his political career, he was a police officer.

Bill Rehm’s journey in politics began in 2004 when he ran in the Republican Primary for District 31 after the then Republican Representative Joseph Thompson left the Legislature. However, he lost to Greg Payne who later won the General election against Democratic nominee Michael Corwin.

In 2006, when Representative Payne left the Legislature, Rehm was unopposed for the Republican Primary, winning with a significant number of votes. He then won the General election with a majority against Democratic nominee Barbara Scharf.

In the subsequent years, Rehm continued to serve the people of New Mexico and was unopposed for both the Republican Primary and the General election in 2008. He won the General election with a large number of votes.

In 2010, Rehm was again unopposed for the Republican Primary and won the General election against Democratic nominee Michael Malloy.

Rehm ran for re-election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 31 in 2022. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on December 31, 2024.

Throughout his tenure, Rehm has been assigned to various committees including the State Government, Elections & Indian Affairs Committee and the House Judiciary Committee. He has also served on the Rules and Order of Business Committee.

In addition to his political career, Rehm’s professional experience includes being a retired police officer. This background has undoubtedly influenced his approach to legislation and public service.
