David Willis is a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 68. He has been serving in this position since January 1, 2021. His current term ends on January 1, 2025. Willis is running for re-election to the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 68 and is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024.

David Willis is a native of North Carolina and has been residing in Western Union County for 20 years. He is a member of Calvary church. He is a husband to his wife Shannon and father to three children who attend public school. Throughout David’s life, he has stood firm in his conservative principles gained through his family life as a child and his faith in God.

Willis earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration/management from Appalachian State University in 1996. His career experience includes working as the senior vice president of Bank of America and owning Kiddie Academy of Charlotte-Blakeney.

In terms of his legislative work, Willis has been assigned to several committees in the 2023-2024 session. These include the Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee, Appropriations Committee (where he serves as Vice Chair), Appropriations on Education Committee (where he serves as Chair), Education - Community Colleges Committee (where he serves as Chair), Education - K-12 Committee (where he serves as Vice Chair), Election Law and Campaign Finance Reform, and Judiciary II Committee.
