Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, Larson has dedicated her career to public service, with a strong focus on legislative bills that prioritize public safety and support for law enforcement. Her commitment to the community is evident in her extensive service record.

Larson’s educational background includes an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree from Bismarck State College and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education from the University of North Dakota. Before entering politics, she worked as a youth worker for the Bismarck Police Department, demonstrating her early commitment to public service and community development.

In the North Dakota Legislative Assembly, Larson has held several key positions. She has served as the Co-Chair of the Law, Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee for the National Conference of State Legislatures.
