Randy Ligon has over 30 years of experience as a farmer, commercial realtor, businessman, and auctioneer, and has spent most of his life in the Chester, South Carolina area. He graduated from Clemson University in 1982 and the Missouri School of Auctioneering. In 2017, he was honored as the Grand Champion Auctioneer by the South Carolina Auctioneers Association.

Randy has served as President of the South Carolina Auctioneers Association and is an active member of The Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors, the National Auctioneers Association, and the South Carolina Auctioneers Association. In 1996, he was the State President of the South Carolina Young Farmers Association and has been a member of the Chester Rotary Club since 1994. He has also held the positions of President and Treasurer of the Rock Hill Sertoma Club.

Randy’s professional career includes roles as a trust officer and city executive for South Carolina National Bank and First Union National Bank. As a benefit auctioneer, he has raised millions of dollars for charitable causes, always prioritizing moral value and integrity in his work.

Randy and his wife Jeannie, who has been a school psychologist and director of special services for Chester County schools for over 25 years, are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill. They have been married for 34 years and have two college-age children.
