Representative John Holsclaw
John B. Holsclaw Jr. is an American politician serving in the Tennessee House of Representatives. Born on May 24, 1963, he represents District 4, which includes Unicoi County and parts of Carter County.
Education and Career: Holsclaw graduated from Happy Valley High School in 1982. He holds a B.S. degree in engineering from East Tennessee State University. Currently, he works as the director of engineering for a company and also owns a jewelry store.
Political Career: Holsclaw has been serving since 2014, having been elected most recently on November 6, 2018. In his last election, he received 17,651 votes. He chairs the Employee Affairs Subcommittee and is a member of several committees, including Commerce, Business, Consumer and Human Resources, and Agriculture and Natural Resources.
