Representative Dave Maxey
Dave Maxey, born in Wisconsin in 1973, graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1991. He then served in the U.S. Navy from 1991 to 1994. After his military service, Maxey earned an associate degree in marketing from Waukesha County Technical College. In 2003, he moved to New Berlin, Wisconsin, where he and his wife built their home. Dave has enjoyed a successful 25+ year career in sales and marketing.
He has actively engaged in public service throughout his life. When his children reached school age in 2008, Dave ran for and won a seat on the New Berlin Board of Education, serving for nine years, six of which he spent as the Board President. Missing public service, he later ran for a seat on the New Berlin City Council. Dave is passionate about working with families, business owners, and organizations to find solutions to community issues.
Dave and his wife Tracy have been married for 20 years and have two daughters and a son. As a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly since January 2023, Dave continues to serve his community with dedication and a strong work ethic.
