Representative Scott Allen
Scott Allen (born December 18, 1965) is an American businessman and Republican politician. He currently serves as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing central Waukesha County. Originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Scott has a background in real estate and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, as well as a master’s degree in urban planning and public administration from the University of Southern California. Prior to his political career, he served in the United States Army Reserve.
In 2014, Scott Allen was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly, where he represents Senate District 33 and Assembly District 97. He has been an active voice within the Republican party. Notably, he recorded a “Christmas message” for the Wisconsin Assembly Republicans’ YouTube channel, where he encouraged hope and quoted from the Bible.
Allen has also been involved in local politics, having served on the Waukesha Common Council. However, he has not shied away from controversy; in 2019, he criticized the flying of the Gay Pride flag over the Wisconsin capitol during LGBT Pride Month, deeming it divisive.
Overall, Scott Allen’s career has spanned business, military service, and politics, making him a notable figure in Wisconsin’s political landscape.
