Stacy Jones is a 2022 conservative Republican candidate for Senate District #13 in Sweetwater County.

Stacy is a Wyoming native, born in Laramie, WY to two University of Wyoming Alums. She is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in Elementary Education. Her father served in the United States Air Force and her grandfather is an Army veteran of WWII. She comes from a line of hard-working professionals, teachers, farmers, and truck driver. She is a gun owner and a lifetime member of the NRA. She is a wife, mom, small business owner, dog owner, Realtor-Broker/Owner, volunteer and has worn many hats including soccer mom and dance mom. She has been a registered Republican in Sweetwater County since 1996.

Stacy moved to Rock Springs in 1995 after becoming engaged to Taylor Jones. Together they have raised their family in both Rock Springs and Green River. They have two children, a 19-year-old daughter who will be a sophomore at the University of Wyoming this fall and a 20 year old son who is doing marketing out of state. Her family loves the Wyoming Cowboys and attends games as much as possible.

Stacy is currently serving on The Rock Springs Urban Renewal Agency board as Vice President, Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce Board, the Sweetwater One Public School Foundation Board as Treasurer and is on the Wyoming REALTORS state board. She is also a member of Sweetwater Snowpokes-a snowmobile and ORV club, Wyoming State Snowmobile Association, Cowboy Joe Club, UW Alumni Association and a Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism Certified Ambassador She has volunteered or donated to numerous events and fundraisers over the years including the Sweetwater GOP, Cowboys Against Cancer, Memorial Hospital Red Tie Gala, UW Alumni Association, Wyoming State Snowmobile Association, Wyoming Congressional Award for Youth, YWCA, Power of the Purse, Sweetwater County Events Complex and various sport fundraisers.

She regularly attends the Wyoming Realtors conference, the National Association of Realtors Conferences, Main Street USA/ URA Conference, the International Snowmobile Congress Meetings and Wyoming State Snowmobile Association meetings.

She is running for Senate District #13 to represent and promote Sweetwater County. She will be a person at the state level who can work well with others in order to accomplish goals. She is passionate about creating economic growth in Wyoming and Sweetwater County. She wants continued public access to public lands while preserving private property rights. She will be an advocate for Sweetwater County by speaking out for lower taxes and in favor of our local employers of extracted minerals, oil and gas to name a few. She is concerned about inflation, local economy, jobs and housing, keeping taxes low, water issues, access, 2nd amendment rights and the prosperity of Sweetwater County.

Stacy and her family are consistent volunteers for events in Sweetwater County and across the state. She believes in giving back to her community and this is the best way to support our county. She will provide stable and reliable representation for our community and will create comradery at the state level to pass bills and accomplish county-wide goals.
