Project Origins

SenGov was founded by John Hashim, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and web developer focused on making public civic information easier to find, understand, and verify.

John’s experience as an immigrant, veteran, and builder shaped the project’s mission: government information should be accessible, clearly sourced, nonpartisan, and useful to everyday Americans.
